Not Quite Ready to Buy? It's Never too Soon to Partner with a Realtor!

At my open houses, I often encounter people who tell me, “I’m just getting started, and won’t be ready to buy for another few months.” While it may sound counter-intuitive, if you’re three to eighteen months away from being ready to buy, that’s the time a realtor can be the most help. A great realtor can save future buyers time, money, and a lot of wasted Sundays!

I respect the care and inquisitive approach that these “early birds” employ in collecting information and getting acquainted with the market.A realtor can help these future buyers fast track those tasks by:

  • Keeping prospective buyers informed of price evolution in the region and the corresponding value one gets in different neighborhoods.
  • Providing the inside story, helpful sites and resources about any neighborhood of interest.
  • Pulling back the curtain on the unknown. A realtor can give you a front row seat into the off-MLS world, where roughly 15% of (Marin County’s for instance) sales transactions occur. What are the costs/benefits of buying this way and how will those trade-offs change as this market continues to evolve?

A professional realtor can serve as a savvy sounding board as you investigate the area in which you want to live. We can make it easier for you to get up to speed and set you up for a smooth and cost-effective purchase when you are ready.

In short, it’s never too soon to start working with a qualified realtor!

I love what I do. I employ skills I’ve honed over a long period of time, to deliver my clients’ dreams. As my tagline says: “Skills that Deliver Your Dreams”. What could be a better occupation than this? To me, it’s not really so much about houses; it’s overwhelmingly about people, their objectives, hopes, fears, nuances. Each client processes very differently the myriad information and emotions involved in conveying property. My focus is to understand their process and deliver them a great experience, not as determined by me, but as defined by my client. I enjoy thinking unconventionally, to
